PvE Raid, healing oriented UI compilation. This is a UI for healers who want a less cluttered screen, and yet still see a lot of information at a glance. Clean, but not minimalist nor graphical, it's a simple workhorse UI.
See change log for changes.
Please read the readme.txt!
Resolution: 1920 x 1200 (widescreen), it's ok to use for 1680 x 1050 (widescreen), but you'll have to move certain elements.
UI Scale : 0.64
1. Make a back up of your interface and wtf folders!
2. Place the Interface, Fonts, and WTF folders inside your WoW folder.
3. Go into the WTF folder and change the following to the appropriate information: Youraccountname(not battle.net email), Yourservername, Yourcharactername.
4. Log on, change the video resolution setting to the above resolution if needed. Change the UI scale to 0.64 too if necessary. Set the video quality to what your computer can handle.
5. Type /reflux switch BeneaUI to activate the profile. If the addon does not change, you'll have to manually to go that particular addon's config and change it to BeneaUI.
6. You will have to redo your keybindings or copy your bindings files over to this new WTF folder. I included my macros file (for my guildies) but it's advisable you also copy over your macro files to this new WTF folder.
7. I have two "alert" mods included, use whichever one you like. Powerauras is still in the compilation but I've switched to using goodnewseveryone (GNE). Take note I modified GNE through the lua so if you update the addon you will lose some stuff (mostly priestly things).
8. If you can use just one visible row of buttons, you don't have to change anything with dominos.
9. If you want to use 3 rows of buttons (useful if you're not used to vehicle fights), you have to change 2 things: a. dominos: type /dom, go to profiles, highlight "Rows" and click "set". b. type /kgpanels config, go to profile, then choose Leveling.
10. You need to go into the configuration window for DXE, then choose profile BeneaUI.
11. I have profiles for Grid (BeneaUI is for priest, Class: Druid, Shaman, Paladin) for every healing class, that includes most of the ICC hard mode debuffs that I deem important for a healer. Each profile has the appropriate class abilities set for the indicators. Take note the settings are for my preferences, you may have to change things for your own.
All the addons are downloaded from wowinterface.com, wowace.com, and curse.com.
No donations are necessary, this is a fun hobby for me. Please remember that I compiled this UI for my use (I have all 4 healer type classes), and you may not like all the elements in it. There might be 1 pixel graphical irregularities, fuzzy border syndrome, or asymmetry that I probably can't see
Changes from old version:
1. Skada replaced Recount, but I included recount in the pack, it's up to you which one you want to use.
2. Acheron (death meters) added. Remember to clear or reset data so your memory usage doesn't go nuts.
Notes:
1. No more unitframe boxes, but the file named Stufold.lua is the box layout and I included it in the download. I finally got tired of the boxes, then I felt nostalgic and decided to remake the frames ala Tapestry's. It's not exactly like his, but close.
2. I've had many requests to try and incorporate Vuhdo in the compilation. I've tried Vuhdo in the past and it's an excellent addon. However, it has a lot more stuff included in the mod that *I* want or need for raiding. I'm not going to rule out ever switching out of grid, there just has to be a mod that is better than grid for my playstyle.
One of Ferous's UI (Svelte) has a wonderful Vuhdo layout, check it out!
Thank you to all the addon authors that donate their free time so we can further enjoy the game through better UI's. If you are an author and do not prefer to have your addon downloaded through my upload, please pm me and I will immediately remove your work from my file.
Thank you Tapestry/Savantido and Caith (and the old discord site), you all were the first UI designers that I learned a lot from. Thanks to Ferous for the bar layout I shamelessly copied.
Change Log - BeneaUI
2.4a:
1. Skada replaced Recount, but I included recount in the pack, it's up to you which one you want to use.
2. Acheron (death meters) added.
2.4 SLDataText replaced by Fortress, and Broker_everything; XRS replaced by RaidBuffStatus
2.3c Changes from old version:
1. Goodnewseveryone replaced powerauras (powerauras still included, pick which you like).
2. Added needtoknow and cascade.
3. More visible buttons.
2.3b I forgot to update the grid.lua, so here you go! This has all the pertinent debuffs for healing the 1st wing of Icecrown Citadel. Only grid has changed, you can replace your Grid.Lua file under WoW/WTF/Account/Accountname/SavedVariables folder with the one in this pack if you already updated to 2.3a.
2.3a For patch 3.3. Updated addons.
2.3 DBM replaced by DXE. Chinchilla has been replaced by dminimap. ORA2 replaced by ORA3. I had to use OuF and WhosTankingFrames(WTF) for the main tank windows. Both are very low memory.
2.2 Changed from Pitbull 4 to Stuf. Quartz replaced by StuF's casting bar.
2.1 Updated for 3.2. Same Format, updated the mods. Doublewide is no more (it's broken as of this patch and no longer updated by the author). Postal may error but still usable. Up to you if you want to continue using it, or disable it until it gets updated.
2.0 Different layout, not an update for 1.0. Switched from cooldownbuttons to coolline. Using reflux for setup.
1.1a.72009 This is the pibull lua text version. Fixed a few things on the power text.
Also removed the chat channels I use and accidentally forgot to remove in the first version.
Originally posted by Benea I've never come across that problem in powerauras. I redownloaded the pack and it's saving powerauras per character still. Just change teksloot to xlootgroup and see if that works.
Jbrowe: caelnameplates
I kept having the same problem with many other addons (Power Auras, Totem Timers...) and finally I copypasted the WTF folder somewhere safe and I copied your .lua's for each addon individually (some I could configure manually so I didn't have to) and I managed to fix it. It seems the problem was solved but I don't know what was causing it. I still have to see if the problems with /roll were also fixed.
Anyways, thank you for the UI and for answering my doubts
Originally posted by Ligia I tried again to fix that issue with Power Auras by deletting the whole addon, by deletting the .lua files, by pasting my past configuration... and everytime I log in and out everything just dissappears I'll keep trying
It seems nobody else is having this problem, I haven't seen any comments on this issue.
I'm trying to fix TeksLoot now, I'll see if it worked in a while when a green item drops
Edit. It didn't :/

Originally posted by Benea I just tried powerauras and it is saving my preferences so I'm not sure what's causing yours not to save. I've been using needtoknow and it's also been fine. Have you checked the comments section for those addons?

Ligia, try deleting the lua files for teksloot in the saved variables folder and start all over with it. If that fails get xlootgroup =P I just tried powerauras and it is saving my preferences so I'm not sure what's causing yours not to save. I've been using needtoknow and it's also been fine. Ferous, thanks! I recently looked at Vuhdo again and it's still impressive, just too much stuff for my liking.
I have been using VuhDo more to know about how it works and I wanted to state that it has built in boss debuffs for all encounters... If you were wondering if my VuhDo was configured for raiding, since you were asking about it a while back :P I don't know why I am now responding to this! lol
I recentlly instaled your UI, modified a few things and found a little problem I am unable to solve.
When a green/blue... item drops being in a group and the teksLoot window pops, i cant's see in its window wether each person is rolling on need, greed or pass. It doesn't appear neither on the chat frame, and I can't figure out how to fix that. It's really annoying for me A little advice would be helpfull!
Also I am having problems with saving my preferences and settings in Power Auras and Need to know addons.
Thanks a lot, great UI and thanks for uploadding it for us.
Oh, I forgot. I gained like 10-15 fps after I installed your UI, I will always love you for that hahaha
Hi Vixyn, sorry I was on vacation. I'm not sure what's causing your disconnect problem. I can't reproduce it. I'd try turning off any mod that you added apart from the ones in the pack, then enable them one at a time to find out what's causing it.
I'm waiting for the last wing to go live on ICC then I'll do an update. I've changed from SLDT to Fortress, fixed the boss frames on StuF, and a few other minor changes. Same layout still.
But i think i may have a issue, when i press "C" to look over my char and try to mouse-over an item it doesn't work and most part of the times Disconect's me from game, same happens when i try to inspect other people.
How do you manage vehicle bars when you're only using that one bar in your UI and have everything else hidden? Do you just have dominos swap to bar one and not have that bar showing?
I have a bar set for vehicles that's hidden until I'm on a vehicle.

Thank you for crediting my VuhDo layout I do PvE Raid but I wasn't when I made the layout, but it is the basics and everyone must set up their own clicking and buff layouts. Thanks again
Originally posted by Benea I'll update for 3.3 as soon as the errors stop >_> Most of the addons in my pack have been updated, but a few have some lingering bugs.
It will be the same layout, I'll probably revamp the UI again once the holiday craziness has calmed down for me.
Same layout sounds fantastic to me, since it looks amazing now!
